645 workshop sells handmade home accessories. Part of the joy of buying a handmade item is knowing a bit about the person who made it.
So here's some stuff about me...
Name: Megan
Places I've Lived: Kesley, Iowa; Geneseo, Illinois; Kirksville, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri; and London, England for four months.
Age: I'm in my thirties. I remember when the internet and cell phones didn't exist.
Day Job: I have a really long, fancy, embarassing title for my middle management job in a large corporation.
Marital Status: I married the love of my life on June 4, 2005, also known as 06-04-05 or 645...get it?
Personal Mission Statement: create something new everyday
Favorite Things to Craft: I like to sew, cut, fold, staple, tie, braid, stitch, glue, iron, twist, or whatever else strikes my fancy.
My Creative Process: I get a lot of ideas while driving, some just before I go to sleep, and some in the morning at work. I have a lot of lists of project ideas, but I often lose my lists. I do most of my crafty work on the weekends.
Ten Random Things About Me:
1. I can't watch scary movies or I get nightmares.
2. I prefer to set the thermostat to a temperature with an even number, but multiples of fives are OK too.
3. I declared three different majors in college; political science, computer science, and finally settled on finance.
4. My guilty pleasure TV shows are anything to do with Real Housewives.
5. I love it when my husband sends me flowers, but I hate how much it costs.
6. I own a pop up camper.
7. I studied French in high school when everyone else studied Spanish, just to be different. I wish I had studied Spanish.
8. I changed my middle name to my maiden name when I got married.
9. I am a middle child.
10. I love cheesecake.
